Premier Medical Group approved as an EWI Corporate Partner

byAnonym

Premier Medical is the first of EWI’s current Corporate Members to be brought across to the new Corporate Membership scheme which was launched at the end of July. The new scheme, which is open to any organisation who employs or manages a panel of experts, seeks to recognise those organisations which ensure the quality of their experts; ensuring they are appropriately qualified and encouraging staff or panel members to develop their skills as an expert witness.

Premier Medical work with the medico-legal industry to deliver more efficient ways of managing and delivering medical reporting, screening, rehabilitation, pagination and diagnostic services in relation to personal injury claims. Premier Medical also provides specialist services such as scarring photography, ‘Day in the Life’ DVDs, translation and travel assistance to support serious injury and clinical negligence cases.

Sir Martin Spencer, Chair of EWI, said:
“We are pleased to confirm Premier Medical Group’s status as one of our Corporate Partners. Our assessment identified that Premier Medical have developed robust quality and compliance processes to ensure the ongoing quality of reports. Throughout our discussion, they demonstrated that they are keen to uphold standards and want to work more closely with EWI to improve the quality of their Experts.”

Dr Bob Goodall, Deputy Chairman and Responsible Officer, said,
“We at Premier Medical are thrilled to be appointed as a Corporate Partner of the EWI. There is increasing scrutiny of Expert Witnesses and we are pleased to work with the EWI to continually promote and facilitate increasing standards to provide the courts with high quality independent opinion.”
