Learning points Learning points for instructing parties: It is best to disclose any potential conflicts of interest mentioned by the experts you instruct, to the court and the other parties, even if they appear minor or tangential. You should remind the expert witnesses you instruct of their duties and obligations and make a point of selecting expert witnesses who can demonstrate that they have appropriate training in those duties and obligations.
