Setting fees and getting paid isn’t always straightforward for an Expert Witness. This is especially true if your cases are funded by Legal Aid, but all court proceedings have to conform to the relevant procedural rules relating to costs. It is also important to have robust terms and conditions in place with your Instructing Parties.
